Qalam AI was developed to address one of the most complex challenges in the Arab world: transforming large volumes of poorly formed handwritten Arabic documents into structured, searchable and usable data. The project was born from the processing of millions of citizen documents, where traditional OCR solutions were not enough to handle handwriting variation, old document quality, stamps, margins and administrative complexity.
